Do you remember the time when Yobit signature campaigns were flooding the forum? It was a lot of hard work trying to discourage members from participating in their signature campaigns and then having to unfortunately tag accounts. Many forum members worked tirelessly voicing their opposition to Yobit and at some stage during the backlash they left the forum and have since not returned.
That was one example of the community getting together to try to minimise the impact of a scam outfit here.
I remember those days very nicely. The whole forum was filled with Yobit shills which made sense since they were paying them handsomely. Felt like 50% of the posts in this forum were by Yobit shills.
They would have continued their campaign in this forum just like 1xbit for a long time, but messed up by not following the forum rules effectively.
I was not an user of the forum back then, so I am not completely informed on what happened. For what I can read around in the forum, the polemic was mostly about some yield program that service/casino was offering?
To this day I still find some negative and neutral tags implying there were people shilling Yobit as if was some sort of scam or ponzi squeme. In the eyes of new people like me, it is something I would need to learn from the testimony of others.
