Everything is clear about the teams joining the Champions League and Europa League before the final week of the season. There is still unresolved business in the standings on one hand though. There are still three teams fighting over the spot for the Europa Conference League which are Aston Villa, Tottenham and Brentford. And it is so sad to see Tottenham here honestly.
And of course there is still a tight competition among Everton, Leicester and Leeds around the relegation zone. However I feel like the current look of the zone won't change much and Leicester - Leeds duo will be added to the teams relegated from the league.
Fierce competition in both places is quite fierce. Tottenham and Brenford will also fight for a win in order to shift Aston Villa. But Brentford looks set to run into extraordinary difficulties. Because Brentford must face Manchester City in the last match of the season. And anyone would agree that beating Manchester City is not an easy matter. in fact, I think the best result that Brentford could achieve in that match might only be a draw.
Unlike Brentford. it turned out that Tottenham actually had a match that was not too difficult. namely against Leeds. It's just that between Leeds and Tottenham both have important things they have to fight for. Tottenham must win to be able to shift Aston Villa. and in fact, even though Tottenham won, it was not certain that Tottenham could replace Aston Villa. Because if Aston Villa manages to beat Brighton then the struggles of Brentford and Tottenham will be in vain.
And Leeds is also in a similar condition to Tottenham. That is, Leeds must win if you want to still have hope of getting out of the relegation zone. It's just that if Everton manages to win their last game then the struggles of Leeds and Leicester will also be in vain.
