I don't buy this argument that online casinos can replace the physical casinos. I have been to both, and the experience with them is completely different. Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage with online casinos is that they can disappear suddenly without any warning. And when that happens, all of your deposits and winnings are gone. In case of physical casinos, at least you can follow up at their office. But for these online casinos, there is no such option. The website registration will be in some remote Caribbean island and even the address provided will be fake. Once they vanish, there is hardly any chance that you will be able to trace them.
It is true psychical casinos cannot be replaced as a great deal of people like the atmosphere they can find there and they also like to interact with other gamblers in a more personal manner, something impossible to do online at the moment, however it is also true that our society is becoming more digital as we speak and that younger gamblers have a preference for online gambling, so I expect that physical casinos will take the hint and develop their own apps and websites and go digital as well.
Physical or land-based casinos were always famous, but online casinos got famous due to Covid-19 that caused the pandemic and made people realize that they can even gamble online if they don't get to go to the physical casinos somehow, and now, the online gambling industry has been growing at an unprecedent pace and will continue to do that.
But, there is obviously no denying the fact that physical casinos will always exist as long as there are people who like the thrill of a land-based casino, and physical casinos will always have customers as long as they placed at places where people go to enjoy just like Las Vegas.
