I was about to update my thread by replacing the broken imgur images, but found out that all of them have been restored. Seems imgur guys have realized that most of their users are from bitcointalk and reddit. I hope there will be no change again on imgur so it saves my time to update all of the unrestored images for my clients. However I prefer to use talkimg instead, at least for now, to avoid double effort if someday imgur makes another joke in future.
Most of their users aren't from bitcointalk but probably from Reddit. Bitcointalk just doesn't have that many active users to make an impact on Imgur. By the way, it's quite interesting if people move backto Imgur or Talkimg is going to take the place of it. For me, it turned into a habit to use Talkimg on this forum.

When the imgur people made a decision that caused all the broken pictures in the forums, there were forum users who rushed to find solutions like TryNinja and even joker_josue had created the image hosting site TalkImg.

Just a note on the timeline of events.

The TalkImg project was already in development for 2 or 3 months. And the project was released to the community a week or two before the problems arose with Imgur. That is, it was not Imgur's problems that caused TalkImg to emerge. But the project was created because of these kind of problems!

It is true that I was very lucky, in that a few days after I launched TalkImg, this problem with Imgur occurred, and the project quickly became known in the community.

Thank you for the support that everyone has given.
I think you have a man in Imgur and were informed that this would happen and took an advantage earier. Okay, I'm just kidding. Yeah, the timing was perfect and I think it gave a boost to the adoption of Talkimg. You have up to 4GB of images hosted on your website as it seems from your publicly available backup, did you expect such a big growth in such a short time?
