This season hasn't been particularly favorable for most top teams, including Manchester City, who managed to win the league with one of the lowest point totals. The underperformance of several big-spending teams has led to disappointing betting outcomes and lower-than-expected returns for top rivals. However, it is hopeful that many of these teams will be proactive in the transfer market, engaging in both selling and buying players, as well as adopting different approaches to bring about a significant change in their performance.
I quite agree with your stand on how this season has been unfavorable with most of the traditional English top clubs. Chelsea had the poorest season among the the top teams followed by Liverpool who like Chelsea failed to make it in the top four but where better because they'll be playing in the Europa League come next season.
However, I don't think it's been anywhere below excellent for Manchester City who did just win the English Premier League title but also qualified to play both in the UEFA Champions League final and also in the English FA cup final. If Manchester should win the both finals, it'll go down in his as their best season the formation of the club
