I wouldn't say it's a waste, it's just hard to find one that's worth it.
Your focus should be on learning to trade if that's what you want. You only need to slowly learn to trade in theory before actually practicing. The type of trading that I don't think requires any special time is the spot market, with trading terms of 3 to 7 days with only one technical analysis and SL/TP entry settings according to the price target. I currently do it without disturbing my IRL activities
