jayce also has an animated avatar but its hard to notice(or at least for me) if you are not directly looking at his avatar. anyway, yours is the only one that is a very noticeable animated avatar.

You have an eagle eye! Yeah I made it a bit less animated as some users complained about some annoying avatars. I created the yahoo's avatar as well and I'm amazed that he is still using it. It ain't cheap indeed to ask him replace the avatar lol.

There was a time when bitcointalk had the option to display the animated signatures but thanks to theymos who abandon that feature.
It was so annoying seeing those animations while reading the text.

did they ever allow that? As far as I know, avatars and ad banners were the only ones that used to have animated features.
