Hmm, maybe there's something weird about the way you're copy-pasting the BBCode? When I look at your profile, your signature looks like this [1]:

The only other person (at the moment) with that same problem is Hyphen(-), so whatever's gone wrong, it's affecting both of you (but nobody else). Maybe you're both running the same wonky OS, or some other piece of software that's affecting copy/paste?

[1] This isn't just something that shows up on profiles, it's also present when viewing posts (you just have to narrow your browser window to see it).
