It's not the same for others and it can't be, because the outcome doesn't depend on the stake size. I mean, accidentally it can happen to me or anyone else, but it's not like a rule: you win with low stakes and you lose with the high ones. It's an illusion which many gamblers encounter, but in reality things like this are not happening in online gambling. Mediocre screenwriters write those things in movies about casino, and then people think they "see" them. Happens all the time with many other things too.
You are absolutely correct, @Betwrong sir. I was just wondering if anyone does have such an experience—not as if it's like a permanent thing or something—but I find it to be a repeated occurrence for me, but it doesn't happen more frequently though.
BUT, if you want to gamble responsibly, you should avoid high stakes anyway.
Not at all, and it's indeed great advice, but many people to whom I have given such advice have never listened to me for any reason and have lost quite a huge amount in gambling, and almost every time they do gamble, they lose a huge amount. There is this my colleague; he doesn't go less than $20, $50, even $100, and most of the time he doesn't even win anything.
What can I say? He's a high roller. Give him your ref link!
But if seriously, it depends heavily on his income. He can be still a responsible gambler if he earns $10k per month.

I am one of those people, I don't still believe that people are making good amount of money from gambling, my 1 out of 10 gambling is why brings me anything close to good win, the rest are waste of money, seeing is believing isn't it? And that's why I don't believe in stories talking about how much they win through online gambling, I knew the stories are either a fake one or the same gambling shit happened again, winning once in a while is the only possible thing with gambling.
Just don't forget that hundreds of millions of people gamble daily, so, there's a high probability that some of them are winning big. They are not lying. None of us should ever count on being one of them lucky fellas, but they do exist. They certainly do.
