Another silly reason why rich people are more valued by others is that those who value the rich expect to gain benefits from the kindness they show to the wealthy. This may sound strange, as there are indeed many poor people who always behave politely and fearfully towards the rich.
Currently, one's self-worth can be measured by how much money they possess. However, there are plenty of poor people who are more genuine and friendly than the rich.
I agree that sometimes more sincere people come from the bottom. But there are also many lower-class people who become sycophants and are nice to rich people just to make a profit.
