The target set by Gujarat Titans was certainly a good scare. But if 20 overs game was played then the match could have changed a bit. However, Chennai Super Kings performed well from the first 12 overs but fell a few wickets in the last 3 overs and at that time Gujarat Titans managed to come back into the match as the last two balls of the last over were in favor of the batsmen resulting in two boundaries to seal the win favor of CSK. In yesterday's match, captain Dhani could not show his ability in batting but the team once again confirmed the IPL win.
The comeback was indeed great. Although MS Dhoni was not able to showcase his talent in the finals yet his team won the match.
We cannot really say if the same would have happened if the overs were not reduced.
But I guess it was their luck and hardwork that lead them to victory. Jadeja showed an outstanding performance too.
