Gujarat Titans gave the target of runs but I think Chennai Super Kings win here is very difficult. It was almost a decisive match for Chennai but jadeja turned the match around and sealed the win in two balls. Meanwhile if I want to say then Gujarat scored the most runs in the final season. But if Chennai had played the match based on total runs then surely Chennai would not have heard victory as the number of wickets fell in the middle of the game due to which Chennai Super Kings would have been under pressure towards the last.
Jadeja hit the winning runs and all the credit should be given to him. But at the same time, we should not forget those who scored the runs till the 19th over. Everyone in the Chennai Super Kings top order contributed, although none of the batsmen could get to a half century. Devon Conway, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu all made sizable contributions. Now look at the Gujarat Titans scorecard. The top-3 dominated batting - Sai Sudharsan, Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill. They finished at 214/4. Could have scored some more runs towards the end.
