Almost every gambler including me made this mistake once at the very least. It's primarily because of the adrenaline rush to try and earn back your losses basically.
Sure sometimes we aren't able to control ourselves and are eager to bet more in order to recover our loss or say have rush to win atleast once when we are too much engaged in gambling at the time. But it's all fine until we are not going over limits too much and it's becoming more of a habit because it can lead to addiction.
The greedy nature of humans will never disappear in us, so to pursue defeat we will usually bet even greater to be able to return the money that has been lost, I will also not be a hypocrite in this case that I sometimes often make such mistakes so that when emotions Uncontrolled I doubled my bet to pursue the previous defeat.

I also think that too rushing is also not good in gambling, learning from personal experiences so that others do not try to pursue their defeat, focus on the game if you want to have fun then enough to play to get pleasure so that it is not fixed on chasing defeat, the thing that is The most important is consistent and able to control yourself
Your point is well-taken, and it resonates profoundly with the collective experiences many of us have faced while gambling. It's the thrill of the chase, the intoxicating allure of winning that sometimes clouds our better judgement. You've astutely underscored a paramount detail about self-governance. Amid the high-octane frenzy, it's easy to let our boundaries blur, becoming subsumed in the relentless chase to offset losses. It's during such times that our recreational wagering might snowball into a compulsion.

The predisposition to up the ante following a loss is a familiar behavioural trait, frequently spurred by our inherent repugnance to defeat. It's a stumbling block for many of us. Nonetheless, as accountable adults, we ought to exercise caution and establish limits to our wagering adventures. Rushing headlong into stakes without due consideration can indeed have undesirable repercussions. It's essential to bear in mind that wagering should primarily be about enjoyment. Hitting the jackpot is a perk, not a prerequisite. The exhilaration should stem from the game, not the gain. So, let's relish the experience, not merely the end point.
