I think comparatively Gujarat Titans players were strong enough but luck was not with them. As a result they lost the final match.
Luck wasn't with them? Did you even watch the match? They were extremely lucky throughout the match until the last two balls since CSK fielding was very, very sloppy. Freaking Gill was dropped when he was on single digits.
Both GT and CSK played extremely well and CSK ended up on the right side of the result. Simple!
Yeah I agree, GT and CSK both are level in quality and performance which is good as we can expect good healthy rivalry between them in coming competitions as well with MI could be also on same level, but they need new blood for the better performance because their few players are not as par requirement, so they are having trouble in early matches and at the end they were completely failed to give any solid resistance.
In final match of this season I also agreed after giving the best performance GT still lost because luck was completely not with them even their batting were at his best and bowlers were also giving their best, but lady of luck was giving good favor to Jadeja and CSK which hit last good runs for the title.
