Roma worked extremely hard to win the Europa League, but they were unlucky to lose in penalties to Sevilla.
Sevilla is one of the most experienced clubs in Europa League history, having won the title multiple times under various managers. Yesterday's game was very special because so many people were hoping that Roma would win because of Mourinho's influence and some players like Dybala and Abraham, but they were not lucky enough to see the game until the end, which I believe is the reason for Roma's failure in the final.
Sevilla, congratulations.
Roma lost and it's very sad for all the fans because they played quite well in normal time because Dybala was able to score early but it's a shame that Sevilla got lucky for them because an own goal from Mancini made the match even hotter in normal time. Sevilla luck was not only in the final match but they got lucky when they faced Manchester United in the first leg because two own goals from Manchester United players saved them from defeat.
Apart from that, Sevilla also benefited because they had a pretty good goalkeeper figure where Bono was able to ward off a penalty kick from a Roma player. I think one of the Roma players who disappointed the most in the final was Mancini because he scored an own goal and also failed to do the penalty kick properly.
