It is possible that this story is fictional. If the author confirmed the said photo of the BTC-logo on the sand, drawn by children, then there would be no doubts. @Fuso.hp said that there was no mobile connection in that place, but he had a phone with him, if he could determine this. If I was in that place at that moment and wanted to tell this story, I would definitely take a photo to support what was said with evidence.
You see crypto currency is totally banned in the country where I live. And the parents whose pictures I'll share on the Bitcoin forum who are involved in Bitcoin will not take it well if they suddenly see their son's picture on this forum. And I also don't want to bring their son's picture in front of everyone. And this is not a fictional story but my real experience and that real experience is what I have shared here.
Quite often commenting on stories like this that look fictitious.
If indeed this story is genuine and not made up, there should be authentic evidence as said by m2107.
He did not ask for a photo of the child who drew Bitcoin, but a photo of the Bitcoin logo that the boy drew, that's all.
I'm gonna bet $100 that this didn't really happen.
There is nothing to prove here. I have not shared the pictures just to protect privacy. It is entirely up to you to believe or not.
Please don't take offense to people who think this story is fictitious.
This will happen to anyone who tells a Bitcoin adoption or Bitcoin-related story, but does not provide evidence that the story actually happened.
