No one will go against your advice because what you say is absolutely true, but what I suspect is that many people won't do what they agree with you on. Many people are expecting a bull market this year, which shows they don't want to buy more or accumulate more bitcoin. So I don't believe they will continue to buy when the price drops further.
I have the same opinion as you and I also think that many people will disagree with my thinking. But as a long-term investor and will only sell my bitcoin when it hits $100k or more, I don't expect a bull market any time soon.
Expecting Bull market in 2023 is something that happens with new crypto beginners, and yes it will get to the point where they will lose their confidence in accumulating Bitcoin because of the instability value, but for someone who have been into crypto for the past eight years now they know that even when dips are happening that's the biggest discount price that could happen, a year to Bitcoin halving for that matter, so it's stupid to stop accumulating.
The bull run is coming but this bear market can make it through 2024 too, some people believe that once the halving takes place the value will start increasing instantly, but two halving events have proven that wrong in the past.If you have no patience you will make costly mistakes, in 2018, many people that started accumulating in the bear market and they gave up in the pandemic period, because they got tired of holding, the same thing can happen, how determined you are is what will make you a winner.
You were right, not only were they wrong in expecting the bull season to come this year, but many were wrong in thinking that the bull season would come immediately upon the halving. I think history will repeat itself, I mean, a lot of people held until 2020 and started dumping because the bull season didn't come as they expected, they sold it all right before the bull season came. For those expecting bitcoin to increase in price in Q2 2024 immediately, chances are the same will happen again.
