I agree with you but the word "pizza" does not need to be defined as it does not need to be defined as "water" or "coca cola" we all know how these drinks are. If I order a pizza, the waiter must bring me a circular pasta cooked in the oven (preferably wood-fired) with a layer of tomato on the surface up to half a centimeter from the edge covered with mozzarella. This is the basis. Finally, you can season it with some ingredients such as ham, mushrooms, peppers, salami, artichokes, etc... but any type of strange dough cannot be defined as pizza. For the dough you need water, flour and yeast. It's that simple and I don't expect a regulation to define what a pizza is if the contest plans to cook one.
It seems like you did not like the mashed potato pizza. Nor the salad pizza. This is the reason you started creating drama

Kidding aside, you will see more submissions next year as long we feed them with merits. They are not here to win the contest. They know they won't get a vote and did not submit their so-called pizza on the Discord server. All they want is some merits! I understand that everyone's creativity and ability to create are not the same. Maybe I made the worst-looking pizza. But, at least you will be able to recognize that this is a pizza. They were not looking good. Still, it's a Pizza.
Most of us that participated in the contest in the forum but didn't summit our pizza on the discord server are already aware of the influence and charisma some of our contenders have achieved over the years in the community and knew even before posting our pizzas on the thread that we stand no chance but at least lets in our own little way put in some fun in the contest in the forum.
I may not be wrong if I conclude that popular contestants like Fillippone, JayGuanGee, icopress, Loycev etc, had some shivering seeing the high rate of participants this year thinking the challenge may be tougher but unfortunately lesser numbers participated on the discord eventually. Perhaps, it would be more transparent and encouraging if we do the casting of vote in the forum come next year the fun and participation may be much more than what we are having this year.
