The most interesting part of this season in the French League was Monaco because they didn't start the season well and had some mistakes in beginning the road but in a few weeks they were even in second place in the table and they could even be first place and win the title, at the end, of this season by the failed and again in the last weeks of the season they couldn't have the same performance and that's why they are in 6th place of the table.
Lens have surprised me more than any other team this Ligue 1 season. They played very well all season and finished in second place, just one point behind PSG. That is, they could have been winners if it wasn't for a few upsetting losses. This season was a nervous one for PSG, but they still managed to win first place.
Lens have really been outstanding this season, they were able to finish in second only one point behind PSG, Lens' revival has provided new competition for the top four positions. They have managed to beat Monaco and Lyon this season, but I have yet to see Lens challenge PSG in the race for the Ligue 1 title.
PSG are a little tired in the hunt for the Champions title this season, losing a lot of points makes them have to fight hard to finish in first place. Next season PSG has lost several important players including Messi, they must maintain the depth of their squad to maintain their dominance in Ligue 1.
