Erling Haaland impact on the game is fascinating. His absence will certainly affect City goal scoring ability as his presence often creates chances for team mates. Real Madrid recognized this and successfully crushed Harland in the first round leaving him with no chance of impact. In the second round although Haaland failed to shoot the ball into the net, he continued to create countless opportunities but was blocked by a wonderful save by the Real Madrid goalkeeper. It is a testament to Haaland talent and determination that he can still impact a game without scoring. His threat on the floor keeps defenders on their toes forcing teams to only strategize to contain him.
Even though in the end Haaland failed to score, it is certain that next season he will come with greater motivation to be able to score goals if Manchester City can meet Real Madrid again in the Champions League match. Indeed, he has managed to knock down countless goalkeepers, but against Courtois it seems that it will be difficult for Haaland and fortunately Manchester City still has other players who can score goals without having to rely entirely on Haaland.
I think that has passed and there is no problem about Haaland not being able to score against Real Madrid and in that way, it doesn't mean that Haaland has to take revenge by expecting to play against Real Madrid again in the Champions League next season. Because after all, in reality Haaland will also win the title of top scorer in the Champions League. Therefore, it doesn't matter that Haaland didn't score against Real Madrid, because the most important thing is an achievement and/or award which is certainly proof of Haaland's fertility in scoring goals in all competitions this season.
