Leicester have finally announced the players who are about to leave the club. The players are:
- Çağlar Söyüncü
- Youri Tielemans
- Daniel Amartey
- Ryan Bertrand
- Ayoze Perez
- Nampalys Mendy
- Tete
It is very interesting to not see James Maddison among these players. But of course his contract doesn't expire this summer like Tielemans' do. However I still expect to see him leaving the club as well. Because he can't just compete in the Championship while he is a really solid talent. He is still young so I believe he can find an above average team for himself in the Premier League. Normally I would have liked to see him at Arsenal especially. But they already have many nice attacking midfielders.
I was surprised to see that Maddison didn't leave Leicester City because even before the end of the season when Brendan Rodgers was still at Leicester he was rumored to be leaving Leicester but maybe that was because of a bad relationship with the old Leicester manager who had his contract terminated after the team didn't progress for a while season and this season is the worst.
After winning the English premier league in the 2015-2016 season, Leicester turned into an average team, they had developed during two consecutive seasons to be in the European league spot and win the FA Cup but after that nothing impressive was shown, and always the team those who are minimal in funds will find it difficult to continue to develop the club. But Leicester may let the player go if any club is interested and Maddison's transfer market is €55.00m currently.
