Best is to avoid altcoins all together and just stick to bitcoin that you store in open source wallet like Electrum or even better hardware wallet. That way you dont have to worry about these types of airdrop scams
my advice is if we really want to hunt for airdrop, then it's better for us to create a new wallet (separate from the main wallet), so we are not afraid if the airdrop we participate in is a scam and of course it will also keep our main wallet safe, but I also not really interested to taking part in airdrop for now, because I think the current airdrop doesn't give us money and only wastes our time.
It has to be like that because right now there are lots of airdrop scams where we are sent tokens that cannot be sold and drain all of our assets,
this happened to me and fortunately there were only $5 in my wallet.
if you have two wallets then you will be safe from things like that,
but don't worry there are still many airdrops that have a price so don't be afraid to hunt for airdrops.
