I used to block and report those telegram channels that sent me unsolicited chats in the past until I realized I was getting banned by telegram from private chatting anyone. Each time I got such chat I would reply them first by telling them their scam to their faces and then report and block them. I didn't know what went wrong. Perhaps the channels I reported had influence on telegram and utilized their connections and got me restricted. So, I stopped responding to them before blocking them. Now, I just block the hell out of them straight away without response to them.
