They’re reports that PSG have fired coach Christophe Galtier after one season at the club. At this point I think the board and their fans know nothing about football. Their problem is they want quick success. Due to the fact that they have the money, they want quick success especially in the champions league and it’s never easy. Now they have signed Asensio and Ugarte without caring whether they fit into new coache's tactics or formations? what a joke of a club. Zero strategy, zero plan and they want to win UCL.
The facts may differ from what you say. Every player recruitment has been well considered from all aspects so that an agreement can be made even though PSG do not yet know who the coach will replace Christophe Galtier. I heard that Julian Nagelsman is one of the candidates as a potential successor to Galtier, so an improvement is expected from him. Julian Nagelsman will also get the right to spend some money on as many players as he sees fit, so I think PSG's two recent signings were made because PSG need them.

Asensio is a good winger, so PSG probably know what they've done rather than us commenting on some sentiments that may not be true. Julian Nagelsman might be fit to be in charge of PSG next season, so I think PSG will be stronger than in the previous few seasons.
No doubt, Asensio is a good winger and a good addition the squad. But take a look at the Chelsea, the owner brought in a lot of players and some decisions that weren’t conclusive and didn’t think he would get a manager forst to consult before signing these players. Now he got a manager (Graham Potter), which in the football world, we know that every manager has his pattern and how he wants his team to play. This is the same route that this PSG owners are taking and it will be detrimental to whatever the new coach wants to achieve.
