Obviously they had a mix of young and old in their team, but it would be wrong to say that they are without star players. Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja are regular Indian players, while among the overseas contingent they had players such as Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes, Mitchell Santner and Maheesh Theekshana, who are some of the best T20 players in the world. Captaincy obviously helped, but then their players also contributed in a big way.
