I dare you to find a single expert that would say that the advance of AI will have no impact on the job market in the future. That's a preposterous claim.
You yourself admit that AI acts as an assistant - well, is that assistant efficient? Can it help a person process more work in the same time? If so, the more efficient that "assistant" is, the fewer people you need to do the same amount of work, meaning some of them are no longer needed. It's not hard to grasp, is it?
