, what were Afganistan batters thinking? They forgot it is an ODI game and not T20. Hasiranga and Chameera did not give Afghan batters to go after their bowling. As expected it is not that easy to defeat Srilank on their home ground. If the Asia cup happens in Srilanka then most probably they would win it this time. The pitch is made according to the needs of Srilankan team. With this win they won the series. I personally never thought that Afganistan would play so badly in the last match. I expected them to be more competitive. I did expect a thrilling final match. None of that sort happened today.
Upon the first match win the expectation on Afghanistan increased. Even in the second ODI, Afghanistan scored close to 200 runs. In the last and much expected match, Afghanistan have done the worst performance scoring just 116 runs. Sri Lanka have chased the target in a much simple way losing just a wicket. Dushmantha Chameera have took 4 wickets for 63 runs. The bowling economy is high whereas Wanindu Hasaranga have bowled well with the best economy of 1.62rpo and took 3 wickets., what were Afganistan batters thinking?
