Wrong. Did you even watch the previous editions of IPL? CSK did lose horribly and ended up on the bottom of the table several times, but most fans still supported him because no one is perfect.
I am surprised with this statement. As of now, Chennai Super Kings, along with Mumbai Indians holds the record for winning maximum number of titles in the Indian Premier League. Both the franchises have won 5 times out of a total of 16 seasons (CSK was actually suspended for 2 seasons, so it is effectively 5 out of 16). In one or two seasons, they might have performed badly, but that doesn't take away the fact that they have been one of the most successful teams in the history of the IPL. Now compare this to a team like Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have never won the IPL till date. Their fans need to be appreciated, right?
Chennai Super Kings are obviously one of the best teams in the IPL so far. I will also say that there have been times when CSK did not have the best team in the tournament on paper. But they had a really good captain. They also had a team which always listened to MS Dhoni. That's why I believe even without the best resources they have been able to be successful. RCB does have a good team. At least in most cases. But they lose crucial matches.
