Checking the top scorers of this season in La Liga, Lewandowski had an amazing performance in this season as I was expecting to see and he is still going to play for Barcelona in next season which can be very good for Xavi and his team but in the other hand, Benzema who is the second top scorer of this list is leaving Real Madrid to Arabian teams and I think Real Madrid is going to have a problem in the next season.
Madrid still has Rodrygo and Vinicius who can be used as alternatives up front. although until now it has not been the best alternative. or another option of course Madrid will look for a good striker for next season. As has been widely rumored, Madrid already has their eyes on several players in the summer transfer window. and I'm sure they've already started talking.
At first glance that is correct but Real Madrid won't want to start the next season with alternatives only. I also think that they will do a lot of work to sign another pure striker with very high quality and if there wasn't something going on behind the scenes, who knows if they would have really sold Asensio and let go Benzema by now. Even though I am not sure whether Benzema was a free agent and he could have decided to stay unilaterally.
But for the next season Real Madrid's goal is clearly set. They want to attack Barcelona again and not fall behind after one half of the season has been played. They also figured out that the difference between them and Manchester City couldn't be overlooked and they know that something has to happen.
