Looks like Afghanistan is regaining their old form. They created a lot of hope after winning the first match, then they lost the second and third ODI match pathetically. Afghanistan will play an ODI series against Bangladesh on the next month. I think they will lose the series too against Bangladesh. Anyway, it won't be easy for Sri Lanka to win the Asia cup even if the venue become Sri Lanka. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are better than Sri Lanka in the ODI format now.

It's not like that. As a result of their inexperience, Afghanistan's performance is very volatile. They will defeat the world's best on one day and go down meekly against them on the next day. At least on paper, both Afghanistan and Sri Lanka looks to be teams of equal strength for me. Afghans are very strong, especially in the bowling department, with players like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Fazalhaq Farooqi able to trouble the batsmen. Batting has been a bit weak and lacks experience, but they still have explosive batsmen such as Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran.
