I think this estimation is a bit off
I'd say pocker is at least 75% skill and 25% luck, could be even more skill though, it's not a game I follow so closely
but you're right, some other casino games are way more based on luck, not skill. and casinos usually use triggers to keep people playing
Games can be roughly classified as high skill and high luck, high skill and low luck, low skill and high luck, and finally as low skill and low luck, an example of each one of those four classifications of games would be poker, chess, lottery and tic tac toe.
Now I do not have a precise idea of how much skill and luck influence poker but without a doubt you need both, as there are instances in which it could be almost impossible for your opponent to beat you and they still do so as they just happened to draw the perfect card, but overall if you keep playing with that level of skill then more often than not you will beat your opponent.
