I think that match was such a smash because MC were playing at home (not the main factor) and took an attacking stance from the start. In their first match it was the same, only it ended around the 30th minute when there was a pause due to an injury to a MC player. In the return match this wasn't the case, MC played on the same wave, they didn't stop
Finals are usually neutral and this time the Manchester City vs Inter Milan match will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, not at Manchester City's home ground. That's how I see it in the schedule that has been laid out for them although I also think that it won't be a problem at all for Manchester City and also Inter Milan as both will be looking to win their last game in the Champions League this season.
Manchester City and Inter Milan will play not at their headquarters and that is a neutral place. But I agree with you that it is not a problem for Manchester City and does not diminish their status as the favorites in this game. Wherever they play, they can always give their best in their game, I even think they will be 2x more motivated in the Champions League final this season.
