No one gets suspended for posting anything on social media. Indian players do not handle their own social media. There is always a PR team that works on it. For him GT would provide that PR team. If you want to blame someone then blame GT. The rivalry that was created between Kohli and Navin was all part of PR. It's unfortunate that a political issue was posted from a IPL players Instagram handle. The first principal of a player is to be always remain away from politics. The reason behind cricket fans only have one religion and that is cricket.
I can't recall anyone facing action for posting something in social media, but I remember KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya getting suspended for a few matches after they made some offensive remarks during one of the TV shows. And I agree that Indian players don't handle their social media pages. Players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma do have dedicated teams for doing it. But I don't think that Yash Dayal has this luxury. He is yet to appear for India, and his IPL contract is worth just ₹3.2 crore per year. I don't think that someone else is managing his account.
