Mane's departure was a big loss for Liverpool, Nunez, who was brought in at a very high price, was not able to adapt properly so his appearance was far from what was expected. Liverpool must make amends for not realizing Mane's request, they must be satisfied with appearing at the UEL next season.
Liverpool still put their trust in Klopp even though they failed to appear in the Champions League for next season, I think Liverpool will make a new breakthrough next season so they can compete with other teams in the title race. The EPL already has many big clubs, Liverpool will find it difficult to compete if they don't build a more solid squad than this season. The presence of Newcastle in the list of the top 4 teams is increasingly demanding that other big clubs appear consistently, Chelsea is also trying to build new strengths after performing poorly this season.
I'm not entirely convinced that Mane's departure to Bayern Munich was the cause of Liverpool's decline.
