Hit the jackpot and stop is more sensible then alot of plans and at least it is a plan.  I think the worst actions would be completely unplanned, unscripted and not remembered even.  At least you can learn from events you remember clearly, its all just reactionary then nothing is learnt just repeated.  The worst mistakes are repeated, always try to gain something even in loss that can be valuable I have found thats small but some consolation.

That is pretty much the only way to win against a casino. Winning big so that you are in the positive, and never ever playing again in your lifetime.

The thing is that most people that receive that large amount of money feel like they can do it again, which is almost impossible, and continue gambling away their earnings.

Casinos now this, so they of course invite you back, treat you with VIP status, etc, because they want their money back  Grin
You are right but such a scenario is very uncommon, after all at that point greed takes over those people as they think that if such results can be maintained during the long term then they could make gambling their main occupation, so they gamble again thinking they will get the same results only for things to change and experiment some heavy losses, then instead of simply accepting that their results have gone back to the mean they gamble even more money, and that is how they end up returning all of the money they won to the casinos.
