They are obviously more confident going into the third game thanks to their steady play and victories in earlier games. UAE has not scored a total of 250 or more in either of their previous matches which has limited their ability to have a meaningful influence with their batting. Their respective totals of 206 and 228 in the first and second matches indicate their difficulty compiling big innings. UAE has elected to bat first as the third match begins and they have made a strong start accumulating 86 runs in the opening 11 overs while only losing one wicket. Given their current scoring rate it appears that UAE may be planning to set the West Indies a target of 160+ runs to reach. The rest of the match course will only become clear with time but it already looks like this showdown between these two teams will be interesting.
