Based on what I can see, he is going to get a share of the revenue generated from MLS tv rights, and he is going to get some other incentives as well but it looks like the biggest one is that he is going to get some share of the team as well. So he will become part owner of the club eventually, considering no matter how bad the team is, we are talking about a big MLS club, it will always worth over half a billion dollars, don't know how much share he will get, but I doubt it would be nothing, or it won't be half of it neither.
This is why I believe that his intentions are clear and he is going to just focus on his future. It's not about how much he makes now, it's about how much he owns when it's all done, and this is a smart decision because of that.
