I wonder how many players of that category Real Madrid can sign in terms of their finances and in terms of the financial fair play rules. It seems that Barcelona is struggling much harder than them, but there it has to do with a severe financial gap as far as I understand. But if they now want to bring in a superstar for their offensive line, they should probably calculate something in the same realm as Jude Bellingham in order to find someone who is really going to do it. They can't have that much more room to make decisions unless they plan on more players leaving the team. But there first big one has been sealed for now.
This year's La Liga is competitive; the only predictable aspect of the competition is that the dominant clubs are Los Blancos and blaugrana. Both clubs are putting in strong preparations for next season; let's allow them some time to see what they're up to. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two top clubs in La Liga, therefore everything they do is scrutinized, both in league games and throughout the transfer window. Barcà are financially insecure as a result of the FFP restrictions they are prone to violate; I envision Carlo Ancelotti and Xavi Hernandez bringing the game to the next level.
For now it seems like Real Madrid is freeing up some capacity for new players. Don't know if they want to let go even more players, but for now everything looks like they are ready to bring in a big new name for their offense. I guess they won't do much about their midfield besides Bellingham and their defense seems to be alright as well even though it had some weaknesses in the past season. But they need to become the Real Madrid again that averages three goals per game. There wasn't enough action in their offense and there wasn't enough potential to counter goals against them.
