Could it be because Ac Milan was doing well in the Champions League that was why they didn't give too much attention to the Champions League knowing too well that Napoli had already overtaken them in the Serial A league chase.
I appropriated Milan's in the Champions League to Leo R absence in the first leg between Ac Milan and Inter Milan.
They got another opportunity to put their team in order to be able to contest for the title league coming season.
Even though AC milan is doing well in UCL this season I think AC milan is very weak and much different if we are compared to the previous season, 21/22. The success of reaching the semifinals of the UEL is an interesting thing, because AC Milan appears to have an inconsistent game. Next season AC Milan must start looking for young players. However, AC Milan's current finances have not been able to provide much money to buy good players. Hopefully they are not doing old strategy with buying old players and making them stay in bench.
AC Milan had a good previous season because Zlatan Ibrahimović who is performing well for them. In this season, Ibrahimović was injured for most of the time. We can also see that with the old generation of players, they are not going to go very far. They will have to make a team based on young players with probably two or three experienced players. They were the defending champion of the season. But they did not do very well. They need a striker in my opinion. A young striker actually. We know that football has become very fast paced right now. They need a young striker who will be able to keep up with the fastness of the game.
