Arsenal have a good business about signing players, so I have no doubts about the players they are getting. Arsenal have only very rarely looked to be serious title contenders each season, in fact they went off the rails after they got so close to it.
For me, as long as Manchester City are able to keep Pep Guardiola as their coach, so far they will dominate the title race. Manchester City is very clear on its mission despite some believing that Manchester City has committed several offences. I tend to believe Liverpool and Manchester United are much more serious next season, but Arteta can change the vision and mission of the team gradually.
What do you mean for Arteta in changing his vision and mission for next season, in theory how? I think Arsenal can have done great things this season even Arteta is doing quite well in bringing progress for Arsenal this season. Apart from that the Arsenal squad has found a pretty good pattern of play from the strategy implemented by Arteta. They just need to clean up a bit in the transfer window to allow them to compete more strongly in the race for the title next season.
I think Arsenal have to bring in good quality stickers for next season to be able to bring big changes for them next season. Leandro Trossard has not been sharp enough this season where he has only been able to score 1 goal in 20 matches played this season. Apart from that, Gabriel Jesus is still an important player for Arsenal on the front lines, but Arteta also has to look for other players because if Gabriel Jesus is injured, Arteta still has a stock of attackers that he can rely on for Arsenal front line.
