Now that they have brought in Jude they will definitely move quickly again in terms of forward transfers because they really need it.
At the moment, the news that Diaz is included in Madrid's next season's plans and that he will be sent home from Milan is getting stronger and of course this is still quite good as an addition to Madrid's banging power. Even so, there still has to be another target now, especially if this has to be thought through carefully because of course our expectations have to remain the same as Benzema at Madrid and even have to be more than that because there has to be a target for next season to be better than the season they are currently running which is even could not compete properly against Barcelona in the title race.
I wonder how many players of that category Real Madrid can sign in terms of their finances and in terms of the financial fair play rules. It seems that Barcelona is struggling much harder than them, but there it has to do with a severe financial gap as far as I understand. But if they now want to bring in a superstar for their offensive line, they should probably calculate something in the same realm as Jude Bellingham in order to find someone who is really going to do it. They can't have that much more room to make decisions unless they plan on more players leaving the team. But there first big one has been sealed for now.
Barcelona still has a problem because previously they were entangled with a large salary it seems, to be honest I don't know how it will perform in this regard but what is certain is that Barcelona's failure started from bad management in the Bartomeu era making it very difficult for them to control their condition and this will continue to have an impact until they able to pay at least arrears to the players after.
Now it looks like it's just the beginning for Madrid because seeing from his current condition after Jude was obtained they immediately looked for several other players and there were the names Davies and Cancelo who were indeed projected for the defense line, apart from that we still have to wait for how they will continue in the offensive which is still no progress so far.
They have done a bad job in negotiating salaries for most of the contracts they signed since 2015 onwards. Maybe other players were jealous of Messi's salary and then decided to also charge more and Barcelona was forced to keep some balance between the players. But some of those players are definitely overpaid and this is why Messi decided against going back to Barcelona. He said that they would probably have to get rid of more players to not violate financial fair play if he comes back and he didn't want to be at fault for others being let go.
