It should be done but I know your developer team will have their own to-do list. I am happy to know it was added to the to-do list already.
The platform should educate users and allow users to use strong passwords that are better for their account security and their fund security too. It is also good for vbetFTN too because if user accounts and user funds are safe by stronger passwords, your Customer support team will have less Customer Support tickets to do about those issues.
