Because if one player makes such a post favoring one side of the political spectrum, then sometime later another player may make a post opposing it. For example, if some of the players make a post on Kashmir as a response to Yash Dayal's post how can anyone oppose it? The best thing to do would be to prohibit active players from getting involved in this sort of politics (I think the clauses in IPL does that). On my part, I am completely against any involvement of politics in cricket. And that is why I condemned the Indian team when Hardik Pandya convinced them to take a knee to support the BLM movement (during the T20 World Cup in 2021).
