With benzema gone, kroos and modric getting older and potentially leaving real madrid team will have a significant performance drop in my opinion no matter what players they recruit they can't replace these trio unless they put on some money and they manage to sign some man city or bayern players like kimmich or de bruyne which is unlikely i think the next season will be more tough for real madrid.
I think now is not the golden age for Madrid to let go of Benzema especially Kroos and also Modric who is a little old to be able to compete with the league next season, Madrid buying young players would be very good because they can give color to the game Madrid can compete in the UCL and next season, the arrival of bellingham will probably make madrid's game even better.
I think madrid will be a strong club next season by buying young players and having the best skills to be able to compete with barcelona and other clubs to fight for the league title and also fight for the CL championship again.
