Manchester City is no doubt the favourite to win today's UEFA champions league final against inter Milan and I think Pep is going to play the same line up he used against Real Madrid in the semi finals. Pep Gardiola still has a lot of quality players like Mahrez, Foden, Alvarez etc. in the second team that he can always bring in to make a difference.
Actually, the spotlight is on the remarkable growth of Manchester City's performance over the past 10 years. Ever since Sheikh Mansour became their financial backer, City's progress has been astonishing.
With the presence of several top-notch players and guided by the finest coach, their squad has become incredibly formidable, even capable of dominating European football. I wholeheartedly agree that Manchester City deserves to triumph in the upcoming final match. While Inter Milan may boast a rich history and strong mentality, we are well aware that new eras continue to emerge, and history is merely remembered, not intended to be the sole determinant for competition.
I smell the scent of a treble winner in the near future.
I think it's laughable how people think its just money that made them this great, there are tons of teams with a lot of money and none of them were as dominant as City recently, the only other team I can think of that is as good as City would be Real Madrid and to think they are poor would be naive, they are a super rich team as well, and PSG is as well, Bayern too, Newcastle nowadays, Chelsea has been for a long time, and there are many other examples. Hell even Arabian nation teams are showing how rich they are recently as well.
So, it is easy to say that its not going to be that easy to beat City and its not just about money, sure they do have money but they are also managed amazingly well and that is why they are this great.
