It was usually difficult to predict who would win the premier league before the season ended. La Liga has also improved and is no longer known as the farmer league; this improvement can be observed in the diversification of league winners as well as other European cups won by La Liga teams.

Given his old age in football, Modric is not worn out. Real Madrid must have devised elaborate plans to find a better replacement for him once he leaves. Perhaps he hasn't received an offer from a Saudi squad yet, so we don't know whether he wants to join them or not.
