Yes, and if you look at the overall result, then I would say that Guardiola had a very average one - this victory was hard-earned (I don’t mean today’s game, but a long way to this victory after so many failures every year). I don't think that Guardiola will leave City - the club has complete dominance in the Premier League, and Guardiola is not one of those who like new challenges. There is no more convenient club than City now for Guardiola.
Though City had more of ball possession but the game was to some extent balanced. Inter Milan had 3 good chances in the second half that would have ended at the back of the net but I guess luck was not on their side. Pep Gardiola has made history for the club by finally given Manchester City their most desired trophy that have eluded them for years. Pep last won the champions league in 2011 when Barcelona won Manchester United in the finals, and It took him about 12 solid years to win the trophy again. Concerning his contract renewal, he might decide to give another league a trial.
