In the last world cup, I think FIFA understood they made a bad decision when they let a country like Qatar host the world cup because Qatar spends lots of money and they killed many workers just to build shiny stadiums while in fact, the games we saw from TV are really dirty and that's why I hope to see other countries hosting world cups with more potential instead of countries lie Qatar.
However, this time America can be a great host for the world cup because they hosted the world cup once years ago.
You are aware that the history of the dead workers are just hyped by western media driven by politics? You can just look at the workers in whatever place you want and see their conditions, try to find some informations from Paris Olympic games and how they are treated.. Just to remind you that France criticised badly Qatar but they aren't any better.
For USA, the situation is not any better and getting the challenge to host the World Cup is very courageous although things changed a lot from like 1/4 century to now.
I agree with you about the deaths of construction workers. Just look at the statistics from big construction projects in other countries to see that the media has specifically touched on the subject of the World Cup in Qatar. But I have no doubts that the World Cup will be held at the highest level in America. I am sure that the next World Cup will be one of the best in recent years.
Every country tries to represent their country as the host of World Cup football. Due to which every country spends a huge amount of money. No such initiative has been taken in Islamic countries before. Due to which, from the beginning, there were many doubts about how successful Qatar will be as a football host for the World Cup 2022. Though Qatar was successful in that respect, the issue that comes up is at that time, many workers died during the preparation of the stadium that is much higher than in other countries. I don't think America or Europe will have such a picture of hosting a Football World cup. Working there using technology will improve the quality of work as well as workers can be safe. The most important thing is that there is no need to build a new football stadium that was not in Qatar.

The questions raised about Qatar weren't really about their ability to host a World Cup in general, but the methods used and the policies implemented to build the infrastructure for the World Cup. Money isn't a problem, human rights are a problem. Human dignity is a problem. When a country can or regime can build infrastructure for hundreds of billions of dollars, why can't the people building that infrastructure be paid reasonably and be treated fairly and with respect? Why do their passports get seized in order to prevent them from leaving the country? What about all the issues in terms of free speech and gender equality?

I agree with one thing though and that was stupid. People worldwide started complaining when the World Cup was around the corner and not in the moment when it was granted to Qatar. But maybe the hope was that Qatar will use the chance and build the infrastructure under fair conditions for everyone. Mission failed.

I am more than happy to see the combination of Mexico, Canada and USA host this World Cup as I also like a lot that it is not only North America, but also South America as part of the representative group. It's a great mix of countries that promises a lot of enthusiasm for the whole event. Lots of people have the chance to visit the stadiums and feel the vibes right around the corner if they can't get a ticket. That is how it should be.
In fact, if the World Cup is held in three countries at the same time, football fans will enjoy the weather of three countries. This will be of great benefit to the travel enthusiasts. However, we football fans hope that the next World Cup will be more magnificent than the Qatar World Cup.
