That's true, but even if I did still follow my favorite sport (basketball), I don't think that term has ever been used or if it's common in sports in the U.S.  I've definitely never heard it before.  But hey!  This is why bitcointalk is great--you can learn stuff like that from people all around the world.  And it might be hard to tell from the written word, but I'm as relaxed as a graveyard resident. 

By the way, relative to what I assume to be the average age of forum members to be, I'm a grizzled old man.  Picture me hobbling around my lean-to sporting a long white beard, relying on a handmade wooden cane for balance.  Luckily there's wi-fi in the vicinity of said lean-to.

I appreciate the explanation, as noted above.  Not that it would have stuck in my mind and kept me awake at night, but I was puzzled when reading that word in the context it was used.  A'ight bitches, I'm a striker!!
