This was a golden opportunity for Dortmund to become champions and they know that very well. If you have a good season and Bayern Munich is untouchable, then 2nd place is much easier to accept. That was definitely not the case now. Dortmund should have gotten more out of it, and they gave it away completely in the last game. Bayern also all the luck in the world, but in the end they won that match on their own. I also expect a very strong Bayern Munich next season.
last season was one of the few seasons in which bayern was very weak and depended on luck while dortmund had good players last season and as you said, dortmund wasted a great opportunity to become champions and i doubt very much that next season dortmund will have that same opportunity again, bayern will be stronger next season, that's because bayern always prepares for the champions league and therefore they are already much superior in the bundesliga, while dortmund will sell their best players and will get a lot of profit selling them
the business of selling good players in dortmund is such a good thing whether they win or not they always end up with big profits, maybe that's why dortmund doesn't have much motivation to fight for the title and settle for second place that it will still give them opportunity to play in the champions league and in the champions league they have chances to expose their players who are super gifted with great talent, in the bundesliga bayern is without competition every season and next season it will be the same thing: bayern will be champion again
